The Netherlands men’s national cricket team, known as “The Flying Dutchmen,” represents the country in international cricket and is governed by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association. Led by captain Scott Edwards and coached by Ryan Campbell, the team has been competing on the world stage since 1996. They played their first One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand in 1996 and their first T20 International (T20I) against Kenya in 2008. The team is an ICC Associate Member since 1993 and has gained recognition in European cricket, making strides in both formats of the game.
